Humanities
Time is devoted to teaching geography, history, religious education, PHSE (personal, health and social education), French, Latin and Classical Studies. Children are taken on day visits to places of historical and geographical interest in London and the surrounding green belt countryside. In Year 6, they are taken to France for a week and then have an opportunity to be part of an exchange with a school in Rouen, France during Years 7 and 8.
A week-long residential field trip is included in the fee and optional cultural trips are offered both in Europe and further afield.
Our RE programme studies all major religions and allows pupils to explore their own faith alongside others. All children attend Chapel twice a week when issues of spiritual and moral interest are discussed to encourage mutual respect and tolerance.
