Personal and Social Development

Belmont has an outstanding reputation for the high level of pastoral care of our pupils. Every child has a form tutor who looks after their welfare and is a first point of contact with the parents. We have a school council with representatives from all year groups. In Year 8, all pupils are prefects and have responsibilities in the School. We also encourage participation in the wider community and we have a programme of charity fund-raising that involves the whole school.

Belmont is a Christian foundation based upon the principles of religious freedom. The School's pupils represent a wide range of faiths and cultures, so Chapel services and assemblies are inter-denominational and place a strong emphasis on morality and mutual respect.
