Beyond the Curriculum

We offer our pupils the widest possible range of experiences and opportunities in addition to the academic curriculum. Every child has access to a varied programme of clubs and activities, both during the lunch break and after school.

All children take part in plays, either acting or in a technical role. Many participate in music groups, with about half our pupils learning at least one musical instrument.

Other opportunities might include debating, Greek, forensic science, chess, horse riding, martial arts and fencing. When we devise the programme, we draw on the particular skills and expertise of our staff and peripatetic teachers.

We place a high importance on pupils' involvement in the activities programme and we report each term to parents on their children's participation and progress.
